Aisha Jamila is an American actress who is best famous for her performances in TV series The Shield and True Blood. In the years since her debut, she's shown her range of talents by appearing on series such as Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. As of 2005 she was noticed initially for her role as Anna as Anna in Assault on Precinct 13 She was first recognized for her performance in the biographical documentary All the Way. Hind has also been recognized for her role performed in the role of Harriet Tubman within WGN America's historical drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the show will be renewed for another season. Hind has recently finished filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is scheduled to release around the middle of 2019.
